Steps
Buy the deal on AppSumo
Purchase your chosen Cleanlist tier on AppSumo. After checkout, your code appears on your AppSumo Products page.
Click "Redeem" / "Access" on AppSumo
From your AppSumo purchase, click the button to access Cleanlist. AppSumo hands your license to Cleanlist securely, so you don't copy a key by hand.
Sign in or create your account
You land on Cleanlist's Activate your AppSumo deal page. Sign in, or create an account. Cleanlist then verifies your license ("Verifying your AppSumo license…").
Pick the workspace
Only a workspace admin can apply an AppSumo license. If you have more than one workspace, "Which workspace gets this license?" lists the workspaces you own; click one. If you aren't an admin of any workspace, click Create my workspace, or ask a workspace admin to redeem the code.
You're activated
You see "AppSumo Tier N activated" and Cleanlist takes you to your workspace. Your tier's seats, list limits, search allowance and first month's credits apply immediately, and your monthly refill runs every 30 days from now. Your one-time credits unlock 60 days after activation.

Check the unlock date under Settings → Plans & billing → Current plan: "Lifetime · N one-time (unlocks date) + M/mo". See Credits & Refills.
Redemption window
You have at least 60 days from the date of purchase to redeem your AppSumo code. Redeem right away so your monthly credits start and the 60-day clock for your one-time credits begins.
One license per workspace
Each AppSumo license links to a single Cleanlist workspace, and a workspace runs on one license: codes do not stack. For more credits, seats or limits, upgrade your tier on AppSumo (your plan updates automatically), or add credits with the One-Time Credits add-on. See the FAQ.
AppSumo workspaces don't get the Cleanlist Pro trial.
Inviting your team
Your tier sets how many team members you can have (1 seat on tiers 1 to 3, 5 seats on tiers 4 to 7). Admins invite teammates at Settings → Organization → Members → Invite member in the portal (opens in a new tab).
Troubleshooting activation
- "You're not an admin of any of your workspaces." Only an admin can apply a license. Create your own workspace from the activation page, or ask an admin of the workspace to redeem the code.
- One-time credits missing? They unlock 60 days after activation. Check the date on the Plans page.
- Credits or limits not applied at all? Confirm you reached Cleanlist by clicking through from AppSumo (not by signing up separately), and that you're in the workspace you activated.
- "This AppSumo license is already linked to a different Cleanlist workspace." Sign in to that workspace, or contact support to transfer it.
- "Your activation token expired before we could attach the license." Restart from the redemption link in your AppSumo account.
- Wrong workspace? A license links to one workspace. Contact support before doing anything else.
