The Cleanlist.ai browser extension lets you enrich LinkedIn profiles and export Sales Navigator searches directly from your browser — no need to switch to the portal.

Installation
Step 1: Generate Your Extension Key
The browser extension key is separate from API keys. Extension keys are managed in Enrich → Extension, not in Settings → API Keys. See Authentication for the difference.
- Go to app.cleanlist.ai (opens in a new tab)
- Navigate to Enrich → Extension → API Key tab
- Click Generate Key
- Copy your extension key (starts with
clext_)
Step 2: Install the Extension
- Download the Cleanlist.ai extension from the Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome → Add Extension
- Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access
Step 3: Configure
- Click the Cleanlist.ai extension icon in your toolbar
- Paste your extension key when prompted
- The extension shows a green "Connected" status when ready
Using the Extension
Enrich a LinkedIn Profile
- Visit any LinkedIn profile page
- Click the Cleanlist.ai extension icon
- Click Enrich to find email and phone data
- Results appear directly in the extension popup
Export from Sales Navigator
- Run a search in LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Click the Cleanlist.ai extension icon
- Set the number of profiles to export
- Click Export — prospects are fetched and enriched automatically
- View results in your Cleanlist.ai portal lead list
Extension Key Management
| Action | How |

| Regenerate | Generate a new key (automatically revokes the old extension key) |
Only one extension key is active at a time. Generating a new extension key revokes your previous extension key. This does not affect your API key in Settings.
Credits
The extension uses your organization's credit balance:
- Email enrichment: 1 credit per successful find
- Phone enrichment: 10 credits per successful find
- Failed lookups: 0 credits
Check your balance anytime in the extension popup or at app.cleanlist.ai (opens in a new tab).
Troubleshooting
Extension Shows "API Key Required"
- Go to Portal → Enrich → Extension → API Key tab
- Generate a new extension key and paste it into the extension
Extension Not Enriching
- Check your credit balance — you may be out of credits
- Verify the profile is a valid LinkedIn profile (not a company page)
- Try refreshing the LinkedIn page and clicking Enrich again
Key Revoked Unexpectedly
- Generating a new extension key revokes the old one
- Only one extension key is active per user
- Re-enter your current active extension key
