Who this is for: self-serve plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Scale). TL;DR: Cleanlist sends in-app and email notifications for low credits, enrichment events, and billing updates. Configure your preferences in portal settings. There is no Slack integration.

Notification Settings

Cleanlist notifies you through two channels:

  • In-app — the bell icon in the portal header
  • Email — sent via Resend to your account email

There is no Slack integration.

Notification Preferences

Configure your settings in the portal:

How to configure

  1. Click the notification bell icon in the portal header
  2. Click Notification Settings at the bottom of the dropdown
  3. Toggle preferences on/off
  4. Adjust the credit threshold
  5. Changes save automatically

In-App Notifications

The notification bell shows:

  • Unread count badge (red circle)
  • Last 50 notifications sorted by time
  • Each notification: icon, title, message, timestamp, read/unread status
  • Mark all as read and Clear all actions at the bottom

Notification actions

Some notifications include action buttons:

  • Low Credits → "Add Credits" (links to billing)
  • Enrichment Complete → "View List" (links to the lead list)
  • Payment Failed → "Update Payment" (links to billing portal)

Low Credit Alerts

How the low-credit alert works:

  1. After every credit deduction, the system checks your balance against your threshold
  2. Baseline: 500 credits — so a 20% threshold triggers an alert at 100 credits remaining
  3. Sends an email to all org members who have email alerts enabled
  4. Creates an in-app notification
  5. Duplicate alerts are suppressed for 24 hours
