Is the deal really lifetime?

Yes. Every AppSumo tier is a Lifetime Deal: access begins when you redeem your code and continues indefinitely, as long as you stay within the AppSumo and Cleanlist terms.

Do I get future updates?

Yes. Your tier keeps getting updates to the features in your deal for the life of the deal. AppSumo labels each tier with a Cleanlist plan (Starter for tiers 1 and 2, Pro for tiers 3 to 7), but your workspace gets the AppSumo feature set described in What's Included. Separate Cleanlist products such as Clu, Agents and Sequences are listed in Not in the Deal.

What's the refund policy?

AppSumo offers a 60-day money-back guarantee on the deal, for any reason. Refunds are processed through AppSumo, not Cleanlist.

When a purchase is refunded (or stepped down), the credits it granted are removed: first from one-time credits that haven't unlocked yet, then from your balance, down to zero. Your balance never goes negative. See Credits & Refills.

When do my credits arrive?

Your first month's credits arrive when you activate, and your monthly refill runs every 30 days after that. Your one-time credits unlock 60 days after activation, when AppSumo's refund window closes. Settings → Plans & billing shows the unlock date: "Lifetime · N one-time (unlocks date) + M/mo".

How long do I have to redeem my code?

At least 60 days from the date of purchase. See Activate Your Code.

Who can activate the license?

Only a workspace admin. The activation page lists only workspaces you own. If you aren't an admin of any, it shows "You're not an admin of any of your workspaces." Create your own workspace, or ask an admin to redeem the code.

Can I upgrade my tier?

Yes. Upgrade on AppSumo. When AppSumo tells us about your new tier:

• Your credits, team seats and list limits update to the new tier.
• You get the difference in monthly credits between your old and new tier right away, and your monthly refill continues at the new tier's amount.
• The difference in one-time credits unlocks 60 days after the upgrade. Any one-time credits still waiting to unlock move to that same date.

Do my monthly credits roll over?

No. Monthly credits are use-it-or-lose-it. Any monthly credits you have not spent before the next 30-day refill are forfeited. Only one-time credits, review-reward credits and add-on credits carry forward and never expire.

How do I get more credits?

• One-Time Credits add-on on AppSumo: from $39 for 500 credits up to 10,000 credits. Add-on credits arrive right away, never expire, and the add-on is non-refundable.
• Review reward: leave a review of Cleanlist on AppSumo, then click Leave a review on the "Get 1,000 free credits" banner in the app and submit your review link. The Cleanlist team checks it and adds 1,000 credits once per workspace.

The Buy more credits packs on the Cleanlist Plans page are not available on AppSumo-only workspaces. Details in Credits & Refills.

What features do I get?

The same core features on every tier: see What's Included. That includes the Research, Qualification and Custom skills, validation, CSV import and export, 50 searches a month and MCP. Tiers 5, 6 and 7 also include API keys and the CRM integration (HubSpot and Salesforce). Features outside the deal are listed in Not in the Deal.

Does my deal include search, MCP or API access?

Search: yes, as a metered allowance. Every tier gets 50 searches every 30 days, shared between People and Companies searches in Find People. Unused searches don't carry over, and search is not unlimited on any tier.

MCP: yes, on every tier. Connect Cleanlist to Claude from Integrations → MCP. See MCP.

API keys: tiers 5, 6 and 7 only. Those tiers include the Cleanlist public API and Create API key. Tiers 1 to 4 do not.

Is Clu included?

No. Clu, the in-app AI assistant, is not available on any AppSumo tier, in the app or in Slack. The same goes for Agents, Sequences, Knowledge and workspace connectors.

Exception: if you also subscribe to a paid Cleanlist plan on top of your AppSumo license, those features follow that paid plan. The AppSumo deal itself does not include them.

Can I stack multiple AppSumo codes?

No. Each AppSumo license links to a single Cleanlist workspace, and a workspace runs on one license: codes do not stack. To change your credits, seats or limits, upgrade (or downgrade) your tier on AppSumo and your plan updates automatically. To add one-off credits, use the One-Time Credits add-on.
